The HARA study is distinguishing the hazards related to process, equipment and working methods and evaluating the probability of taking control measures to protect the workers and company assets. In this project, analysis details hazards and operation failure modes to affect the production and legal requirements. Such as the Atmospheric gas monitoring equipment needs to be installed around the machines to detect LEL and TVOC compounds to eliminate environmental concerns and workers' health. The overall purpose of the study is to identify the hazards and risks, then remove/minimize the hazards by providing recommendation control measures. And create a danger-free zone workplace. In this paper I have used quantitative and quantitative methods used to find the Operation failures and Possible Hazards. I have analyzed and exam pined the work/process locations have more hazards to make work more difficult even though good housekeeping and preventive measures. I.

Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 is a piece of Malaysian legislation which use to discipline many types of specialized fields. In other words, Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 covers in many aspects for examples the social, mental, and physical. The objective of this study is to spur the adaptation of safety and health environment at the Top Speed Precision Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. based on the existing potential hazard. There are some possible injury cases happen due to the accident in the workplaces. This might cause by lack of awareness among workers regarding on safety and health during working. It is very important for workers or employers to emphasize safety and health at the workplace and lack of management control also can often leads to accidents. The data collection was carried out through site visit, observation, interview session and analysis by using the HIRARC method. This study suggested several precautions that can be made regarding on safety and healt...

This paper summarizes the findings of a literature review conducted to identify and assess methods for identifying and analyzing occupational accident hazards in the manufacturing business, with a particular focus on the food industry. The methods were divided into two categories: morphological methods and methods for 'ahead' or 'backward' event tracking analysis. The methodologies are offered along with a brief overview of the procedures, the scope of the analysis, and the significance to the food sector. There are also some method characteristics listed, as well as references to earlier major publications on the approaches. Based on the breadth and type of accessible input data, a methodological framework was designed to differentiate three alternative methods to risk analysis. Sivakasi, a town in the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu, produces the majority of the firework items consumed in India. The firework industry's manufacturing process necessitates the...

Globally, the last few years we have seen an enhanced control of environmental pollution related to the exploitation of the mines and metallurgical facilities and industrial complexes in general. With enhanced control of the transport of chemicals both within states and in transit across borders, provided a higher level of prevention and security of the transport. The goal is, of course, the processes to be treated in the frame of sustainable development, although hardly feasible, it still has a positive impact on the final performance, and is associated with the development and awareness of the consequences of pollution by industry sector and the implementation of supervision and control, supported by legislation of relevant institutions. Inevitably, on the other hand is necessary and appropriate risk assessment in terms of handling, storage and transport chemicals and precursors. Human error as a factor, as well as various overlook technological processes may be one of the conditions for disaster outcome. Many raw materials, by-products and final chemical products carry a certain risk in the preparation, storage, transport and unloading, which represents a growing danger and can lead to unpredictable and long-term effects on people and the environment.

The article deals with the issues of employee safety under the influence of local man-made hazards. The example of the welding process is used to calculate the risk of work in a confined space. The issues of application of protective means for prevention of violations of health of the worker are discussed. The situation of emergency shutdown of ventilation during the work of personnel in difficult conditions was simulated. When calculating the probability of risk occurrence in the simulated situation, toxic effects of nitrogen dioxide on the health were established for the options of absence and presence of protection (mask).

The working environment in steel processing plant is hazardous and characterized by multiple simultaneous chemical, physical and mechanical hazards exposure, which would lead to injuries of workers. The main aim of the paper is the analysis and evaluation of occupational hazards and risk associated in various jobs in Cold Roll Slitter sections which are being carried out in the Steel processing plant to reduce the hazard in order to make the working environment safe for the workers. So for this purpose we have used hazard analysis methodologies such as Job Safety Analysis for identifying hazards and its consequences by analyzing all the processes. And the Safety performance monitoring in the steel processing plant is done, monitoring or measurement helps us to identify the weakness in implementation of safety program in industries, with view to improve the safety system in future.

Risk is virtually present everywhere around us. Nowadays, there is an increasing focus on safety at work; therefore, the organizations that want to be successful in the market try to eliminate risk factors to a minimum to avoid or prevent the health hazard of employees, damages to property or the environment. The work is focused on the risk assessment of a selected device, which is the most risky workplace according to the organization where the research was conducted. In the practical part, we became familiar with the equipment for welding and a thorough analysis of the current state of safety by a complex method was done. Consequently, corrective actions to reduce risk to an acceptable level were proposed. After that, we reassessed the risks of complex method, and the point method was used to verify the effectiveness of proposed remedial measures.

In the paper, according to the analysis of statistical data, correlation between the amount of occupational injuries and occupational diseases in Ukraine within last 5 years is defined. Also, using methodology of the International Labor Organization correlcation between the amount of accident fatalities and general number of accidents in Ukraine and EU countries) is defined. It is shown that in spite of the positive dynamics of decreasing amount of occupational injuries, the number of occupational diseases in Ukraine always increases. The comparative analysis of the ratio of the number of accident fatalities to the total number of registered accidents showed that, on average, Ukraine exceeds the EU countries by this indicator by 100 times. It is noted, that such negative indicators (in particular, increasing amount of occupational diseases), may occure because of imperfect methodology for identifying the risks of professional dangerous. Also, it is ascertained that basing on the existed methodology, the identefication process of occupational dangerous is quite subjective, which reduces objectivity of conducting quantitative assessment. In order to eliminate defined drawnbacks it is first time proposed to use corresponding integral criterion to conduct the process of quantitative risk assessment To solve this problem authors formulate and propose an algorithm of improving methodology of a process of analysing dangerous and harmful production effects (DHPE) which are the mainest reasons of occupational dangerous. The proposed algorithm includes implementation of four following successive steps: DHPE identification, indication of their maximum allowed threshold of concentrations (levels), identification of the sources of identified DHPE, esimation of consequences of manifestation. The improved proposed methodology allows indentify risks of occurrence occupational dangerous in systems "human-technical system-environment" even on the phase of its designing when dangerous and harmful manufactured factors are unknown yet.
